Puddle Jumpers & Spinning tops
Brief Ride Report :
The ride to the Hatch Pub was too much for one rider (GetaWiggleon) - engine troubles before the off. A towtruck was arranged (Horse on the GSA) but it wasn't having any of it and refused to fire.
We zipped up and down a few lanes out towards Hannington and encountered the Byway around the back of Ibworth which was solid wet chalk. Those on slicks gave rise to the entertainment with Horse's GSA going down at least 3 times.
As we approached Overton, the field started to spread out and it was clear that the big GS was not at all happy - with oil dripping from the air box and Darren wincing from carving up the countryside.

After doing the rounds down the Harrow Way, Overton and Laverstoke (after losing Lars with a faulty clutch cable) we crossed the M3 to Dummer and picked up the muddy and wet grass routes through to Bradley.

7Cuero had fun trying to stay upright on the LC4 - Time for new tyres I think

We made it through towards Medstead where Dave (our glorious Leader) decided to show us which route not to take through a particularly deep puddle. Didn't get a picture but we had a 45 minute break whilst we drained the water and performed minor surgery on the poor 400 and tried to get it restarted.
We then made quick progress down to Alton for the lunch stop. On the way back to the meeting point, we had Broken spokes, Stuck Throttle and lost riders.
On-the-whole, brilliant day out - Nice to get out on the familiar lanes and a few new ones too.
I think it was pretty level pegging for the pogos Vs Trailies competition - DaveE seemed to keep his 950SE under some form of vague control

Hope the bike & knee are ok Darren.
Cheers everyone and Dave for leading (somewhere out there in front).
