Anyway, the mystery is solved. Not enough detailed map installed. North stops at Calais. It's Brexit friendly.
 
Great news.... no paper maps and no tank bag to put a handwritten route onto. It's like five hours at Calvary for him and I'm sure Keith is a load of comfort. I guess the option of following Keith is a non-starter, too.

Adventure travel (or two days in France) in the 21st century; it's a doddle.

The intrepid chimp and chimpette are now off to a BMW garage. I'd love to be there to watch what happens next.

Was the route first done on his computer or another/someone elses computer?. as (with Mapsorse) yer have to have written it with the same software its using

Whichever prick at Garmin decided to split Europe between north and south (and how the fuck northern France is in Southern Europe, I have no idea) should be strung up by the bollocks and beaten to death.

You are all wrong.
Nutty is the proud owner of the GS Rallye. When a nav v or vi is attached to a Rallye mount it 'knows it' and as the Rallye is such an awesome-off-road-steed the sat nav only has to draw a straight line between the start and finish!

You may find there is a correlation amongst your bikermates between the amount of empathy and support being shown and the previous receipt of an invite to join you on you multi-centre mini wander in Northern France ;) :D
