Well, last minute.com due to work. Home late Friday and yesterday new coil packs and a heated grip on throttle to finish off recent service.

20mins shakedown seems all good.

That’s me ready to head off today from western isles for couple of weeks on Emerald Isle and NW200. Never been before so looking forward to it. Got some folks I know who stay on course so should be fun.

Anyone heading over?

love the north west, been going since 2009 and only missed a few, always stay in ballycastle, some great bars, O' connors, House of Mcdonell been in the same family for 280yrs

I went to the NW200 once and got called a 'Fenian bastard'.
I didn't go back.
Hi ECCC,

i hope that happened a long time ago as most people have moved on with that sort of nonsense. typically a small number ruin it for all. I actually think the mix of people and cultures that this brings together at a fantastic week of racing and motorbikes in general, is typically very positive.

accept my apology on behalf on decent 'prods'.

Thanks Barry, that's very kind. Yep it was a long time ago.

TBF they were right so I didn't take any offence. ;)(y)

Yes, we lived in N.I near Ballymena for over 3 years and never got any abuse

We were referred to as 'blow ins' a couple of times which we found highly amusing

I have only been to the NW200 once, but really enjoyed it and will go again. It’s so much easier to get to and from than the TT.
