I had one, then my next battery was a Motobatt......every bit as reliable, smaller (or higher powered for the same size) and significantly cheaper, plus a better design (twin poles for each terminal)

I have a Motobatt on the Trumpet and it's gone thru the first winter without any issues. I'd like to see it get thru another 1 or 2 unattended before I give it the same praise. So far it's been 100% and easy to use, particularly liking the multiple connectors. I convinced a friend to try it in their Gixer too and he's been happy so far, apart from finding when delivered it doesn't include as standard the screw and nut to use the additional terminals. TBH, if you're removing an old battery that shouldn't be a problem.
I had the trumpet serviced by a good Indy last weekend and he was critical of it, but that might be more of someone who only likes OEM in which case Odyssey might have got the same response.
Does anyone know the Odyssey Battery equivalent model number I need for my R1200GS LC? - Battery has started acting the goat and I would like to know the odyssey part number I need.
