Off-road routes in Yorkshire ?

Thanks for the response. I am in Fairfield. I shall be in France next week with my other hobby and for relaxation I am an IAM Observer with Cleveland Advanced Motorcyclists; www.cambikers.co.uk .

We are currently in the middle of a course so the next 6 or so Sundays are fully booked up.

I will pick up the thread after the course finishes when I shall have a little more time, that is...unless...there is a Saturday ride planned. If so plaese count me in.

I remember reading bike or ride about a year ago and they rode a very long but gentle off road section across the dales, seem to remember it was about 15 miles, in fact inless I'm dreaming it was on a R80GS.
Anyone know where this track is , where to and from?

Thought I'd set off for the do in May a few days early and go via Snowdonia, stay the night there and then go upto the dales stay a night there and try to ride abit cross country to the north yorks moors.

Hi, I'm a new biker with a 1220GS and would like to follow any of you guys on any of the easy, not muddy etc off road rides, if your willing to tow along an inexperienced, old, born again biker. Any rides mid - end of September - N yorks?

You might want to check out this thread ( http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81354 ) for an offroad ride. I've only recently got my 1150 and I'm thinking about going on this ride too (if I can get a weekend pass from SWMBO ).

Never mind just thinking about it, just get yourselves along. It should be a great day out, a nice steady ride over the scenic NY Moors and is suitable for those with little or no off road experience.

Saw this one, would have been ideal ride - but on holiday until 15th Sept. Anytime after that, count me in (on a dry day for my first adventure!)
