No, Dont get concerned, both bikes are fine but I ve gone and got another Austin 7 and my garage is looking a bit full at the mo. Ive tried moving things around and seeing what I can get rid of and by the looks of it I may have to consider getting rid of one of the bikes.
So if it comes to it, which one (This is a bit of a frivolous post really but in the interest of stiring up a bit of bullshit,) here goes.
No I dont want any comments about value either.
Bertha the 100GS is a great bike and in good fettle. for longer distances I would choose her oiver the g/s anytime, sorry proff, even with the paralever it still goes and handles well, 43 ltr tank is over the top but just makes it look the Biz. The 80 g/s is original and in very good trim. goes surprisingly well and is a delight for a bit of a thrash. Bit more of a collectable though.
So which should I let go.
I must also add that I fell I am not getting any younger and doubt that I will ever do any long distance travelling again. although my riding is I think still up to a good standard, how do we know when we are not up to it anymore.
I bought a Mulliner bodied Austin 7 earlier this year and have had so much fun with it, and my wife will come with me, and George our spaniel as well that I bought this 1936 Opal 2 seat tourer last week. been out for a run today and did about 150 miles, great fun with the hood down.

That Austin looks great

If I had to pick one bike it would be the Paralever. Sell the mono :thumb2

Cracking looking Car :thumb2 The mono would be the one to hang on to from an investment point of view, it will carry on going up in value, but Bertha has the pace and comfort. Tough call.
