Got my Kettle back yesterday afternoon being away since March 9th,I only intended to have an engine rebuild but got a bit carried away.

Fabulous. Love those kettles.
I really wanted one but I’d only recently passed my test and the HP was too much so I settled for a GT550 instead, it was still a beast but when someone pulled up on a kettle the lust was still there.

Thanks,it's had a full spray ,frame stripped,swing arm straps powder coated, shiny refurbed wheels,new replica zorsts, lots of rechroming etc.
Would you believe all this work only cost me a grand? No? Neither did my Mrs.

Looks great ,do you have a modern bike as well.and if so how much do you need to adjust riding style going from one to the other ,some arse clenching moments I bet .

My newest bike is my 2016 RS1200 with all the bells and whistles along with it's recent Wilbers suspension upgrade.

Yep I nearly binned it about two miles from home yesterday morning forgetting the brakes on the kettle aren't quite as good as the RS.
Overtakes and braking points now have to be planned with two weeks notice
