Oh my God its got a chain !

Mine have gone already as the bike just wants to lay over and corner

Mine had diablos and there a sticky tyre but not as good in the rain as T30, I'll be back on another XR when it's updated hopefully.

Enjoy

350 miles in and.......

Loving it even more
Fitted the rad guards, Autocom, rim tape, tank bag a bit of heli tape on the rubbing points. Well Andy did most of it !

Andy had a go and said "fuck" quite a lot when he came back.

I remember Flips appraisal of this bike when he had one for a weekend and it is all true with a bit more of brilliance for good measure.

It is the BMW large soft bag which was full of all the rad guards and stuff on the way to Andys

It is very big but will come in handy for touring

Looks really nice in white , prefer it the red one

Are you getting it from marshalls !
They were quite good !

AJ, as they gave me a cracking p.ex on my 2013 GS. I'm getting the lowered one. Extras are the HP levers, they're fitting the R&G rad guards and I've got the R&G crash bungs, & bar sliders waiting here to fit. The fork sliders and the blanking plates for the rear footrests are on back order as is the little bungy thing for the hole in the top yoke.

And today it has

A clean chain
Very therapeutic cleaning it

Kin'ell do you actually ride it? Pick up mine on the 3rd, lowered, hp levers, R&G guards fitted by AJ. Waiting at home are R&G crash bungs and bar end sliders with pillion pegs blanking plates, fork sliders and the yoke bung thingy on back order.

Yep, got just over 1500 miles on, but I've been away on the GSA a few times as well, since the XR arrived. This is a bike to ride, not just look at.:green gri

I also like to make sure it stays looking good.:thumb

Are the R&G pillion blanking plates/ exhaust hanger in stock now?

R&G have only delivered part of my order so I assume no?

Chains - I just wipe mine over with a rag and then reapply the chain lube.

I'm not interested in having a showroom looking chain but I am intrigued as to how the feck you get one looking that clean, how do you guys do that?

Andres

It is a 10 minute job
A paintbrush some paraffin and a rag !

Work the profane in to loosen all the grime and then with rag in hand round the chain just spin the wheel until its clean and shiny then apply fresh lube !

every 300 mile or so

as said i find it therapeutic and it really is an easy job
