Noticed a new ford, on the latest Wetroads update, very close to the site

I bet I could fall off in that one 'and fill the ..kin top box up too'

Sadly though :( Jill and I are committed to a wedding, and if we could get out of that we have Jill's three year old grandson for the weekend too.
I'm not sure we'd be very popular with his Mum if we took him on a weekends drinking and riding :augie especialy if I dropped him in a river.

Besides I haven't modifyed the bikes to lesson the effects of water ingress :o yet.

Have fun folks, see you at the East Mids :thumb

Steve

I will be comming and if you need more people to take out groups or help out with groups I will be more than happy to help out or I can just sit by my tent and drink beer all day as I am now unemployed what a great feeling.

Won't matter a bit - I'll be able to tell you have fallen off when the giggling and squealing stops :P

Er...the giggling and squealing started whe we started falling off if you remember Clive :D

God job too or I'd never have found Mrs Whatton in the undergrowth on the third or fourth off :hapybnce: :hapybnce: :hapybnce:

hi clive, are you going offroad in the dark on the friday night?
Last year wasn't as much as the recce we did - it was a bit damp on the night IIRC and two of us had pillions - it was a good laugh though, so yes, some of the easier lanes will be on again this year. :thumb2

not going:( no more :(

With regret

With the Conditions imposed about us using out motorhome being changed yet again, it is with GREAT regret we have cancelled our booking and will not be attending Hograost
Being moved OUT of the field into carpark away from the merriment was the final straw .
Going for rideouts with £25K's worth of motorhome in an unsecured carpark, out of site of the campfield and other people is untenable to us and our insurers

Barbara is as pissed off about it as me if not more so, as she had a great time last year meeting lots of mad but fun people..

Thats as a great shame.
Surely having to park in the car park, out of the filed isnt that much of a pisser, after all you only sleep in it.
If you want a base with in the site for sitting and drinking close to the others I have a BIG Cabanon tipi/hut tent that Euan and I use in Cornwall. Is great and I can have it up in less than 10 mins.
We could take that and pop it up close to the action with a few chairs :thumb2
As for leaving the van in the car park, whats the difference in that and parking in a council car park somewhere for the day and going sight seeing whilst your on holiday?

Have a think about the tent option, I can post a picture of it if barbs wants to see it. It would make a great place to sit out side of drinking and you can store all your cider in it.

Go on go on go on

There you go.
And I'll bring it down to you before so you can take it up.
Like I said its huge inside, I can jump up and down inside it and I can pop it up in a flash when I get there after lunch friday.
