Oh my!!!

That petrol cap could be painful in the gentleman area if you were unfortunate enough to hit something and come to a rapid stop.:blast

Excellent, that certainly qualifies to be up there in the original post of 'banal statements'. One I did omit...well done!

That oil temperature gauge is in a ridiculous position, the rider would never be able to read that while sitting on the bike ........

You asked for it Melch!

Why would there would be anymore stress on the spokes with the brake disc mounted on the rim rather than the hub?

You Know Now when I sit down and look at it I can;t explain it

My initial "thoughts" were that the leverage would be amplified

but seems on closer inspection its probably actually greatly reduced as the disc is on the rim so the spokes have nothing to do with the braking moment except support the weight of the bike against the braking force

If I am thinking correctly?

Yep.The spokes have fuck all to do with the braking moment.
Everything low down looks good , even the exhausts are angled. I would guess this thing turn in quite well.

...Which is why it's an ogling piece, motorcycling art.
Form over function.

I have no idea what it cost to build, but people spend tens, hundreds of thousands on 'art' , and pieces by masters go for tens of millions.

I'd far rather have something like this hanging on my wall, something I'd really enjoy looking at, feeling, smelling even, than a flat bit of canvas that I could buy as a reproduction print for a tenner from the Museum shop :nenau

As a motorcycle, it's a total bit of shit, but as a piece of art, I love it :beerjug:
