its happened again, ive got out the copy of TEN YEARS ON TWO WHEELS , GS"ING AROUND THE WORLD , AND GS A 30 YEAR HISTORY, i think you know where im going with this , im after another gs , its in your blood ,after a while, its like having withdrawl symptons , after a while without an air cooled gs after 41 motorbikes ,11 bmws , 2 bmw sidecars , and 5 gs "s ,i cant live without an aircooled gs ,
why i dont know , there good but not brilliant , the gear box is ok , sometimes awfull , and they dont handle that good really, but theres just nothing like them , ill shift the other bikes over in preperation , for the inevertable.!!

Resistance is futile...get the cheque book ready.

Your going to find that A/ prices have risen since your last one. B/ There's a lot of knackered ones being punted at high prices c/ they really are as bad as you remember them :D

I've managed to wean myself down to three of them.

boy have prices risen , no offence ,but the one on here in the gs section 94000 miles ,nearlly two grand , way to much , if you were sensible ,for £2500, you could get a great trail/touring bike probably less than 8 yrs old , but for £2500 ,as you know ,you will only get a halfish decent gs .
im allready making room in the garage, resistance is futile

ill have to wait a while ,we might be moving again , this will be 7 or 8 times 3 different countrys in 9 years , ..........unless a bargin come along , did actually ring up about a cagiva elephant on friday ( had two before )

Got anything interesting you'd like to swap for my 100PD? Brit bikes or Harleys or Italian?

wish i had ,im down to two bikes at the moment ,the electra glide ,and the 1100rt , the glide i love to bits ,any excuse to go out on it , the rt for the motorway blasts, but an airhead is on its way , i know its going to happen

I know of something GS "like" that will be for sale soon at a very sensible price (read cheap) :augie

I'm enjoying your old bike Dave. Took it to Devon in June for the Gentlemen's Wee-kend. She's still running well too!

Good luck in the hunt:beerjug:
