Anyone recommend a decent outfit to service/rebuild the Ohlins on my R100GS? The shock does it's job at the moment but has a bit of corrosion. Would the shock be refurbished to 'as new' with corroded parts replaced and can anyone give a pointer on what I can expect to pay?

White Power

They did my WP unit last year Devon (full service and new parts) although after quoting a similar price, it ended up being £120 ish posted back to Derbyshire.

I delivered it at that as well

hello

two questions about Olhins:

1- I weight around 55 kg. what sould be the rate of the rear spring for me? most of the time I ride alone and with out lugage? (55 N ou 60 N spring? or something else...)

2- were should I but a spring for my rear Olhins?

thanks

These guys have quoted £72 + VAT and parts required. They will service the White power off my R80 also.

I finally got round to sending the Ohlins off to these guys a couple of weeks back and the the shock was returned earlier this week.

The bill breaks down as:

Service £72
New hose £37.27
Bump rubber £5.27
x-ring £1.22
Scraper £4.61
P&P £8.95

Plus the VAT and the price was £151.95 The shock seems to be a lot smoother and more presentable cosmetically. Not cheap but still better than fitting a new shock I guess.
