For those of you that believe that an oil filter is an oil filter no matter who makes it, Halfords have oil filters for the 11*0GS at £5.79.

Guess who just paid £10.40 for one with B*W stamped on it

Ok, so the expensive one had a bag of crush washers, but I've got a load of them already.

Iain

why oh why oh why, i'm selling them to GSers for £4:13 , not cheap pattern types, but top quality, made by Mann, who make them for BM--

oil filters

at least you would have some recompense with bmw if your filter failed for some reason and damaged the engine!!! try getting any joy out of halfords etc if that happened.all genuine parts are warranted for 2 years.

BMW recommend you change the oil filter annually, regardless of the miles driven ??

Been in again and had a look, filters are Champion C301.

Specified for R1100GS amongst others - but no mention of 1150

But, there are no crush washers supplied

Iain

Steptoe,

How do I go about ordering one from you?

Jeff

:beerjug:

I've been meaning to be come a Sponsor for some time, just haven't got around to it. I'll sort it out tomorrow.
