Hi , What engine oil are people using these days for a Le Mans ? MK1 if it makes any difference ?
Thanks , Mike

In my 1978 california i'm using Rock oil TRM 20/60 fully synth - engine is as quiet as a church mouse when it's running. :D I also use it in my harley.

Blurb -

Rock Oil TRM 20/60 is the ultimate lubricant for all highly stressed 4 stroke engines.
TRM fully synthetic 20w60 is a specially formulated synthetic oil containing selected large molecule base fluids combined with a unique additive package.
TRM is especially good for engines with roller bearing crank shafts and V twin engines used under arduous or racing conditions.
.

20w50 mineral when I can find it.

I'm not surprised steptoe's Cali is quiet, it's almost new :)

Basic 20/50. If I use anything synthetic or different I start getting minor leaks, like the seal behind the alternator.
