OIL HEAD SERVICE DAYS

I nipped into your house and stole it when you weren't looking. I even did some hoovering up whilst I was at it, your living room was a disgrace

Then I clicked on your link, and clicked on the download icon to download it to my laptop.

Then uploaded it to my photobucket account, then copied the image details from there, then posted those details in this thread by clicking on the 'Insert Image' icon above the reply box.

Like New!

Hopefully the pics are OK and show some of the excellent ways in which Mike puts things across and makes the day such fun, Cheers again.

Great pictures. Almost like being there, but without the flapjacks. A bit like when Bear actually went!

(We had flapjacks at the airhead day)

Those photos are fantastic quality :thumb2.

Flapjacks are over rated and only eaten by fuckwits. Bacon sandwiches are where its at!

(Any photos of the flapjacks please?:P)

Damn! Knew I had forgotten to take pics of the cakes and buns!, thanks for the comments, I really like the black and whites. Mike, if you want the originals I can email them and print put the b&w ones to hang up in the workshop?

The camera was a Nikon D90 with a 17-55 f2.8 lens, the camera was in manual with between 1/80 and 1/30 shutter and f2.8 to f4 aperture, ISO 1600 so I didnt need flash, also white balance to flourescent as the workshop is lit with strip lights. Only editing was with lightroom and just contrast and clarity and conversion to B&W with the level 4 preset.

Impressive. so not an iPhone then:D

With my D5000 I always forget to change my white balance according to the type of lighting:blast. And I would never think to crank up the ISO as high as 1600. But then there are many areas of DSLRs that I don't fully understand.

D5000 will be fine at 1600 even 3200, I think it is newer than a d90. May be fine upto 6400 but would have to do some test shots, there will be some grain obviously but this can be removed in Photoshop or Lightroom.
