Can anyone help with identifying the source of my oil leak? it's pooling into the fins of the R/H cylinder head but I don't know how it's getting there.

Are you sure it's oil , looks a bit strange on the photos. Coolant ?

Nah, the coolant leaks out of the left hand side
(I’m not kidding, it really does)
Could it be petrol?
Fairly sure it’s oil, it’s brown, smells like oil, and err…oily ;-) doubt it’s petrol as I’d just ridden it home when I took the photo and the engine was pretty hot. I’ve also ruled out ASF50 as it would have burnt off since its last bath.
On 2nd thoughts, may be it is ACF. I've cleaned it and will wait to see if it returns.

How dare you! you should know that a well ridden GS must have scabby / missing paintwork..
