Oil Leak ???

I noticed a little oil on the floor after I moved my GS yesterday. I took a look and there was oil on the rear of the gearbox? and also in the sump guard.

I had been topping up the oil when I noticed that it was low in the sight glass but perhaps I overdid it last time. Even when it's hot now there is always a full sight glass. Is it possible that I overfilled it and that's what's causing the leak?

If I did, what's the likeley damage and should I do an oil change and put back in the correct ammount?

Hmmmm yes - looks like another one! What year is the bike?

On the other hand you may just have over filled it. Is it gearbox or engine oil? Is the clutch slipping?

No the clutch isn't slipping, It's a 05 bike and I can't really tell what oil it is tbh. I'll have a read of that other thread now.
