Will oil p*ss out everywhere if I take the oil pressure switch out without draining the sump?

Ta, the waring lights been glowing abit. The oil pressure and temp gauges show everything is hopefully ok so I thought I'd pop another switch in.

Careful not to confuse the "oil pressure warning light" with the gen/alt warning light on the dash. :blast :blast :blast...... I did...
Replaced pressure switch on my R100RT only to find it was the "gen/alt" showing warning. Need to pay better attention at what I'm looking at :rob
"Oh well" it was cheap anyhow. Replaced rotor and all was well. And now also had a new oil pressure switch too!!!

Well having a had quick gander at the bike it looks like the oil pressure switch is infact now in the HPN sump (theres a switch of some sort in the side of it with a wire coming off it that plugs into what I pressume is the standard oil switch wire) and where the normal oil pressure switch is there is a braided pipe to what I guess is the Wudo oil temp guage sensor. Is this making any sense so far?

As I am doing away with the oil temp gauge and going back to standard I think I will disconnect all that side of it and put a standard swtch back in just behind the barrel. Does that sound right?

I'll go and take a few snaps of what I'm talking about.
