Oil warning light on at idle?

I changed oil & filter last week, 20/50 mineral was in before, replaced with 15/50. Noticed the oil warning light comes on at idle when warm sometimes, say stopping at lights etc? Should I be worried? Anything I should check? (Level is fine)

Bikes a 2000 1150 standard, 71000 miles used daily.

my 1150gs 79000 miles did the same replaced the wiring though it might have been a frayed wire i run the new wire on the outside of the harness new connectors soldered and made sure connections where clean but the light still flickered occasionally,a new oil pressure switch cured it.

Probably the oil pressure switch. They are known to start doing this after a while; new one needed.

Yep that was my initial thought too. I cant remember ever seeing a post in this section about the oil light coming on where there actually was a problem with the oil pressure. where the oil level was adequate. ie. visible in the sight glass.
