On my way to Algeciras - Morocco bound

I travel with a top box and soft panniers all half empty or full... When I stay in a place for two nights I am able to ride without baggage, I do have a puncture repair kit and sometimes half a litre of water in my back pocket.
Cheers, I was meaning when you stay a couple of nights and go for a ride

To be honest I have so little gear even if I ride with the baggage it's not a problem, apart from fragile stuff bouncing around in the top box. I feel for Morocco soft luggage would be best but I do like my Fuji for example locked away if it is not over my head and shoulder. And yes if I come off it could hurt me ....

Ready to head off in the direction of Tata, this hotel has been good, four nights and plenty of spins to be done.

Cheers, jockser, fab day today 450km made it to Tata just before sundown bumped into a young NZ couple and did a fab road and 200km with them. I shot video with my phone today.

The last photo was where I stayed four nights, great value, good food, nice people, and a garage for the bike.

No U-turn at taouz, I went from there on the road to hkob, then back over the mountain to baumalne.
Today Thursday the 9th of November I did a circuit without my bags, from Erfoud to Merzouga, then on to Taouz to get to the end of the road, as it were. There I did a uturn and came back on my self to Merzouga and on to Rissani, I continued on to visit Gara Medour.

Today Tata to Tarfatou. 160 K with a lovely 50k stretch off road. The quad lock charger did not work and I ran out of battery which was a pain. Can't say in the real world I am overly impressed with the wireless charger or the damper, which I already removed. I must remember to start each day at 90 percent or more as it just seems to charge intermittently....
lovely ride though, the country keeps subtly changing.

I'm having a hard time with Moroccan town names I must admit, can't remember ever having it so badly in any other country ...
Well if you do eventually discover you are in Tafraoute :D make sure you take the short ride South of the town to go and see the Blue rocks. Climb up to the huge round/oval ones and give them a whack with your hand, they have an eerie hollow ring to them.

Will do Paul, I am exactly there, and staying two nights, what a feking majestic setting. Reminds me, slightly of Hanoi, in India, but not the same...

You can spend a day walking around the painted rocks, you can ride the bike right up to the area where they are. The place has a very spiritual feel to it.
The area around the Anti-Atlas is beautiful.

It is absolutely beautiful. Tomorrow I will go for a baggage less spin and a walk.

Small bit of video from today as the phone ran out of battery, feking wireless charger from quad lock....

Another nice short vid there Richie.
The sign of a great trip is when you can't remember what day it is :thumb2 :D
