Spray it on using paraffin gun and compressor and it provides a barrier to rust etc .Looks nice…. How does that ACF50 work ?

You'll only get more legroom while sat on the bike parked, with your feet down.
The seat and footpegs are both fitted to the subframe so the seat/peg height shouldn’t change but the reach to the floor will, as will the shock rate if you change it.
If you are long enough in the inside leg measurement, raise the suspension then lower the pegs to improve ergonomics.
As the others say, only in relation to the ground, not the pegs, so when you’re riding it won’t make any difference to the ergos
£155 per shock refurbed..What's wrong with the Hagon shock? As far as the OE one goes, Denzo @ TT Tech will have it good as new for less than any replacement unit.
That’s a good idea as the OE pegs are very narrow .@Arsey
Fit a set of pivotpegz this will drop the pegs by about 25-30mm, and as they pivot it's good for the ankles and knees.
If you want a higher seat, then look around for a 2nd hand high seat
Love PivotPegz on my KTM. Great for rotating ankle joints whilst in full control of the bike and at a fair lick.@Arsey

I’ve PM’d him as can’t get on his website .I’d go for a Denz0 mail order shock refurb, maybe a spring optimally matched to your weight/riding style, and some form of adjustable foot peg mounting/lowering kit. Shouldn’t cost top dollar and will allow adjustment to find the sweet spot you are looking for. You might even grow to enjoy the bike, it’s pretty much unbreakable.
Perhaps put a cushion on the seat as a test measure and see if it feels like a more comfortable height before shelling out?

The shock won't make a difference but getting a normal seat rather than the shortarse one fitted will help... Sadly age and lankiness like me means a footrest lowering kit or even better lower pegs like the old Fastaways make a big difference... I also like the rear ABS by WiFi like mine...As I thought I’d explained above, the Hagon is a shorter shock so the bike is lowered and I want it back up to normal height to give me more leg room.
Hadn’t realised that’s a low seat on it .The shock won't make a difference but getting a normal seat rather than the shortarse one fitted will help... Yep it's harder to tell with the standard black seat being an option as well but the standard seat is basically a bench style version...Hadn’t realised that’s a low seat on it .
Denz0 did my original 1150GSA Shocks and they were brilliant and the cheapest optionWhat's wrong with the Hagon shock? As far as the OE one goes, Denzo @ TT Tech will have it good as new for less than any replacement unit.
I put a slightly stronger Hyperpro spring onto my standard damper which still worked fine; i also stripped the ride hight adjuster and refilled it with clean fluid; i would'nt say it was night and day different but it works well; the front end is the magic of the bike for me;I’ve PM’d him as can’t get on his website .
As mentioned above it seems the OE shock is wearing a Hyperpro spring so I’ll try find out who fitted it and what spec it is .
I had a similar 1150 in 2011. Lovely bikes .
