They look good
They're the ones I bought... I remover some of the leading edge inserts are they were overly grippy... Gearlevers is adjustable and I used a different brake pin I had from before for the brake lever...
Looks great . Shame I haven’t got a 1250GSAI have a nice set of R1250GSA footrests for sale if interested.
Also a BMW trim piece that fits between the exhaust and silencer.

Regards to a seat. Maybe put a wanted ad. On here.
Does a GS seat fit a GSA though ?Nothing at Motorworks/Sherlock etc ??
Were there ever any decent aftermarket seats for the 1150's from Corbin/Sargent/Wunderlich/Touratech etc as another possible option ??
Surprised that USA and Germany haven't got anything suitable used ?
Or buy this baggy looking thing on eBay and get it recovered :

Colin at Moorespeed contacted Unit Garage and the 1150GS seat won’t fit the GSAI was working on the assumption that the 1150GSA one-piece seat pan would use the same location points on the subframe as the non-adventure bike (ie both the GS and GSA share the same subframe ?).
Perhaps the wise old sages on the forum know if the 1150GS and 1150GSA use the same rear subframe/seat mounting arrangement, or know if they differ ?
Patience Grasshopper or buy one from bmw for £300Meanwhile, scoured the internet for a seat . Tried eBay in other countries . A few seats for the standard GS on eBay.de but nothing for the GSA. Only a few covers .
Also tried a few selling sights in Germany . Not a damn thing
YepThe GS uses a different set of parts to hold the separate seats but these can be retro-fitted to a GSA to convert it from a single piece seat to the split seats. JB has done it as have others. Some have done it the other way to make a GS into a single seat unit.
Personally, I’ve always preferred the split seats and now only use the front one. It means I can fit a separate load tray where the rear seat would go.

So you have the base so it's refurb time... If send the seat and a pic of the std seat to a Tiny Archer type co, they should be able to do a good job... Certainly Tony Archer was good but not sure he's still operating ..Nope. They called back and the seat is discontinued
Nope. They called back and the seat is discontinued
Well, I’ve been able to order it . Will be interesting to see if it actually turns up as it’s not in stock on the main BMW parts website and this site despite ending in .co.uk had a French shipping address .Try this link, Martin. According to this site, I can order one so click on the cart logo and see if you can order it directly. This link takes you directly to the page I took a screenshot of yesterday. The red/grey and low seats show as discontinued but the top one looks like what you’re after.
