I download maps from OpenStreetMap 
and use them in BaseCamp (I also contribute to the OSM initiative by editing the maps of my local area). The only slight problem I have is that the "new style" maps don't display (render?) correctly - I see horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines:
As I understand things, it's related to a/the "TYP" file. However when I research this I'm soon into technical stuff which is way beyond me.
Can anyone advise!
