Thanks for the GPS, thinking of going down there over a long week-end. Probably go the motorway route all the way ( via the tolls), as we want to get to Limoges in a day...Does anybody have experieance on the fastest way down not hitting Paris.

Calais, Le Mans, Tours, Poitiers, Limoges. Motoway as far as possible between those places and then take the main roads.

quickest and shortest route to Limoges:
Exît from Euotunnel - Merge onto A16/E402 via thé ramp to Boulogne/Rouen
Prior to Abbevilie -Take Exit 23 to merge onto A28 toward Le Tréport/Rouen/Le Havre
Prior to Rouen - Continue on E402/N28 (signs for N28/Rouen
Out of Rouen - N338 heading to A23/Elbeuf/Le Mans/Petit-Quevilly/Grand-Quevilly
Prior to Les Essarts – A139 (signs for A13/Evreux/Oîssel)
Near Les Essarts - Continue on A13
A13 to Jct19 near Louviers (Small toll)
A13 Jct19 - on to N154 towards Evreux/Nonancourt/Dreux/Chartres/Orleans Stay on the N154 and at Allaines - Mervilliers you will merge onto the A10 (toll road - Take a ticket)
Follow the A10 to Orleans where you will merge onto the A71 signed to Toulouse
Stay on the A71 to Vierzon A71 Jct5 (pay your toll you will need that ticket)
At A71 Jct5 Vierzon join the A20 signed to Toulouse/Chateauroux/Limoges
