Orkney - A visit to Hoy.

Nice one Mike, Honda in the best colour , looking good. Very much looking forward to your euro trip report, how's the Honda two up with luggage in particular. Am thinking of a romantic trip away for Julie's 60th in 2018 that Bothy looks good :D

Cheers Andrew.
I'm really impressed with the Africa Twin two up, to be honest I thought it was going to toil especially compared to the GSA but it was great.

Enjoyed that, cheers for posting the link to your blog ..

Just got back from spending the weekend in Orkney, stayed in a guest house (Karrawa very nice) in Kirkwall. The weather was crap, got to visit a lot of the tourist stuff. We found the place a bit depressing and bleak (the weather didn't help) The Italian chapel was nice.
Left home on Thursday afternoon, stopped with friends in Edinburgh, then B+B (Firhall in Grant Street, excellent) in Grantown on Spey on Friday. Ullapool on Monday (Dromnan B+B very good) and back to Edinburgh last night. At least the weather picked up from Monday afternoon so we had a crackin' ride to Ullapool, then for the rest of the trip south.
