Hi Folks

Just a quick heads up to let you know our first SE model arrives sometime tomorrow. It is a customers bike so wont be around too long, but you're more than welcome to come and see it in the metal.

Suggest you call before making the journey just to be sure it hasn't been collected.

SE = End of the line, new model en-route :augie

Yehbut, the R1200RT SE has been running for a few years now, I dont think SE necessarily means end of model line.

Though the firmly closed mouth and blank look you get from the dealer could suggest otherwise... I got the same 'message' about two months before the updated 12GS/GSA came out.

SE = Series Ending. As practised previously on the 1150 GS and RS.

As SilverFish says, and in addition to the RT, we have the K1300GT SE, which we launched in February, SE = Special Equipment or put it another way added value.

Anyway, rest assured I will be amongst the first to post anything about a "new" model GS as soon as BMW tell us of it, in the meantime I know as much about it as everyone else on this forum.

WindyChuffer, the offer was to see it in the flesh/metal, but if you want another picture I'll get one posted tomorrow when I'm back at the showroom.

£ how much is one of them, mister ?

Bahnstormer - 'twas a tongue in cheek request for pix. Soz if that came across a bit strong....

While my posts were to some extent :toungincheek the 1200 is now 5 years old, even if it has been "upgraded" recently. Wonder if the boxer will continue, or if the F800 will have a capacity hike?

Sorry to but in guys, Bahnstormer could you possibly tell me if the suspension from a 12GS will fit a 12GSA?
I have Wilbers (lower) on my GS and am thinking of trading in for a new GSA but would love to put my Wilbers onto the GSA.
Thanks in advance,
Chris.

Would look better with a black seat.

The magic stand - must be an option. How much is that?

Okay:

Hand Guards (and for those other eagle eyed tossers) Pannier Fastenings and LED Indicators are included in the Premium Packs.

Magic stands are orderable, made from unobtainium, they're on back order with no forecasted deliver date.

Finally, just put my house on with the local bookies that the boxer engine will continue!

Now get back to work you lot.
