I’m sure the ASA is pretty good-BUT it’s a first attempt by BMW.
Honda have been producing DCT bikes for years . My 2016 AT DCT was very smooth but the 2018 ATAS DCT had the next generation DCT and that was even better, even blipping the throttle on down changes.
I’d imagine the latest 1100s are even better .
My 2022 Wing DCT is butter smooth.The gears go very slightly out of sync after a few thousand miles but you can resume them in less than 5 minutes and then the changes are literally imperceptible again.
I’m sure the BMW ASA will be refined in future reiterations but to state it’s a game changer , as an honourable member did (

) is a tad ridiculous ,but not unexpected given how some on here can’t see further than the Motorrad brochure….
