Spent the day out on the RT, it's this time of the year that it excels at, warm hands and warm feet, despite having not much tread on the rear tyre, I much prefer the conti go to the roadsliders that are on the 800 I have, there was more grip on the nearly bald Go's in the cold and damp conditions, than the roadsliders in damp conditions in June, new tyre should arrive Monday, not many out, I was the only one at Hartside cafe! :thumb2

Looks Great. You can't beat an RT for riding in this weather.

I really liked the Conti GO's when I had them on my RS but the wear rate was frightening. Something like 2.5k out of a rear which is ridiculous for an airhead tyre.

One of the problems I've found with Contis is they have a nasty habit of splitting when they get to the last of the tread.

How many miles :eek

As I only plan on running it over winter, then it shouldn't wear to quickly, i probably won't do more than 2k miles a year, and will Sorn it from March and tax my airhead Gs instead!
The 800RT seems more stable and less likely to follow ridges in the road, but with less grip on the roadriders, but they are fairly new, and the 100RT was very worn when I bought it, I have put about 1000miles since, so I hope the new tyre improves it!
