Outlook invites not showing in Calendar...

Hi,
I wonder if anyone has a solution for this issue?

When I receive an Outlook meeting invitation in my inbox, it will not appear as tentative in my Calendar unless I open the invitation.

As you probably know, the invite should appear in Calendar as tentative (with blue and white striped bar on left side) even if not opened in Inbox.

No other abnormality.

Win7, Outlook 2007, all legit. .pst file is quite big 8GB.

IT guys have tried loads of things - to no avail.

Any ideas welcome, thanks!

Is there not a thing about pst files getting too big ? our IT geeks always advised keep it below 2gig for smooth running of Outlook

Roddy there was a 2gb limit for outlook 2003 but after that, no limit afaik. Bin

Aye that rings a bell now you've said it

The blackberry software gets in before outlook can process it, your in house nerds can alter the update time for the BES server, I've had the same issue.

Ensure that you have selected Process requests and responses on arrival and Process receipts on arrival(Tools -> Options -> Email Options -> Tracking Options)

Ste - have that.

Not using Blackberry or any mail forwarding. PST file is in my laptop, and we have tried creating a delay in transferring files from server to pst in order to let "sniff" function work. Did not do any good.

Laptop formatted yesterday, started with no addons (simplyfile, nokia pc sync) and still invites not appearing in calendar unless the invite message is opened.

Help ?
