With the winter approaching, I'm at a cross roads regarding waterproof kit.
I've got a set of Richa over trousers and an over jacket for those absolutely stormy days.
However, I just wanted to see what others use for leggings on inclement days. Been looking at these:

Mountain warehouse goretex walking trousers
In a large enough size to easily get over bike pants
Only a few quid but excellent in v heavy rain
If they rip or leak not so expensive that it hurts to replace unlike most Biker / Motorcycle branded stuff

These:

My problem is inside leg length. I like at least a 33" to prevent it riding over my boot.

I used to have a 10 mile commute to the office. I am a rebel and just wore jeans on a fine day. I kept a set of these thickly lined Weise ones in the topbox for cold days https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/15942

For warmer but wet days I just used whatever was cheap so the current pair is Spada branded. Similar to https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/256686

I bought the bike specific ones as they tend to have better access if you want to put them on quickly over your boots. Both sets worked well. I would not want to walk far wearing them. The rustling noise is horrendous and you get warm quickly.

Berghaus Paclite Goretex. They unzip from hem to hip, so boots are no bother. They’re also the only thing I’ve found that have never let a drop in.

My wife and I both use them (not the same pair!), and neither of us have ever had any water ingress. That’s in about 30k miles.

They also come in various leg lengths, which is good for her as she’s only two foot and a tab end.

I wear them over Draggin Holeshot jeans and my wife wears them over her Motogirl leggings, both through summer and winter

As recommended by Giles, when he was a member here. He would have been out on the donut run in more rain than most here.

I, for my part, will heartily recommend them, too. Easy to put on, easy to take off and, not least, do what it says on the tin.

Just make sure you buy the correct size, not forgetting that they need to go over your base trousers and allow for the natural ‘mansplay’ when you sit astride your awesome steed.

On thing to bear in mind is the length of the zipper. Most bike and walking over trousers go up to the knee. Ok putting on. Some go up to your hip. Easy to put on/off. I have the Berghaus Gore trousers with waterproof zipper which goes both ways so you can have access to your pockets. They also come in 3 lengths
Also have the BMW Gore over trousers, heavy duty. But with knee length zipper, I use lightweight boots with those for easy access.

Or non Gore

Just seen that Mr W & D recommend the same.
Also Berghause have a live time warranty.

i agree, best pair of waterproof overtrousers I've ever owned.

I use Halvarssons Prince (I think that's them) trousers from late Autumn through to Spring, and Klim Marakesh for summer/warmer days duty, carrying some surplus Navy goretex overtrousers on those wetter summer days. For not a lot of money those surplus over trousers are every bit as good as gucci price branded over trousers. They are great as they have wide bottoms to the legs and zippers to do them up so go on over boots. Marrakesh are possibly the most comfortable textile trousers on the planet and very breathable, yet have kept me dry in light showers (dwr treated).

The Halvarssons have been the finest textile wet weather and cold weather trousers I've personally owned so I see little point in over trousers once the inclement and colder weather sets in, and use these for a good deal of the year. Removable thermal liner for the colder days, decent armour, Hi-Art abrasion resistance for the vulnerable places and very comfortable. More importantly, they're 100% waterproof and keep you toasty on chilly days in the saddle.

I use these too. I'm just about to switch to a new pair for this winter, after over ten years out of the first set. I have a set for walking too. The walking ones are Large, Regular leg. The bikes ones are XL, Long. They do the job perfectly and pack up way smaller than most.
