Louise always gets us tickets with a load of her mates and partners to this on the Saturday. Its a great Concert event, very Best of British, superb atmosphere;

so thats where we will be from 2pm but she'd mentioned the POP too. The morning will be spent getting the huge picnic ready though and all the booze so maybe we'll go back Sunday. In previous years we've staggered in around 2pm absolutely hammered from the concert ( drinking constantly from 2pm can do that
) and fit for nowt the next day . But this year with Lou preggers we might be good to go

Had a blazing row with my then wife and some of her feckless friends at the end of the concert a couple of years ago. Went down in local (read clique) circles as the "How many F's in field?" affair. Bunch of nobodies pretending that they were somebody, got on my tits big time. 
Best not go again in case they are there.

Agreed there are a lot of toffs/tossers there but we lot from the Crewe / Nantwich posse turn up together in a minibus and definitely manage to lower the tone sufficiently.
We don't have them village cliques round our way 
This year I very, very nearly got my head kicked in at the end of the evening by a pissed up retired squaddie (medical discharge) which, for some, to witness would have been worth the price of admission alone
Combining the event with the POP event was great because we got there early and managed to see quite a bit of that for free too. Had a good wander round the cars later on in the evening although many of the bikes were under cover and some had been taken back to the campground where the owners were staying.
The POP looked a good event to go to. Mini Goodwood Festival of Speed right on your doorstep.

We are at the Camerata from 2.30pm and the big screen next tot eh stage was showing what was going on at the POP so we saw a lot of the cars and bikes go down the course .
