Painted panels - what do you lot reckon

Thanks guys. I had decided on C, but the more I look at A, the more I like it. And yes, I do know how that sounds, and am still talking about the bike pictures!:P:D

Panels

Apologies for the small thread hijack Richard
Anybody out there with a 2013 LC fancies swapping
My White panels for their red ones.

Prefer it standard, painting a gs is like putting a bodykit on a lada samara:D:rob

Ooh.....suits you, SiR......:P

Some people would seem to prefer it, if their vehicle of choice could be dipped in a vat of black paint.

I cannot for the life of me understand this at all and yes I know it's called personal choice. So is jumping off a cliff !

People have all kinds of limitations. Either live with it or do something to expand your mind....:thumb

"do something to expand your mind"

How do you suggest I do that ? Maybe you can help me understand what it is about wanting everything black as you seem like an intelligent man.

As for me jumping off a cliff and telling you about it, I prefer to let you expand your mind and find out for yourself, apparently it,s the thing to do.

That's very impressive Nutty being able to create things on your computer like that !
So now I've caressed your ego a little I wondered if you might do me a favour and post a picture of the same bike but with all the panels in white but leaving the stainless bits stainless :bow

Out of those 3 I'd go for No 3

Steve

Sorry to shatter the illusion Steve, but I didn't photoshop those images.:blast:D

But, this is the only white one that we had done at the same time.

how much for a new bike, and then the colour bothers you...? surely not. Or was the last one sent back as the colour was off? this is not a serious thread is it?

I assume, not for the better? Have you seen one?

I think the rad cowls are an integral part of the design and being matt chrome they react well in different light.

Any photoshop picture retains a level of reflectance from the original finish and unless you used a coloured lacquer, I think you'd struggle to get the same finish.

Where did I say the colour bothers me? I ordered a blue bike, and am getting a blue bike.:nenau You may need a new prescription, as I'm talking about changing the side panels from grey to black.:rob Look back a couple of pages, I even posted pictures so that you wouldn't need to use your imagination.:augie

I see what you're saying, and when we first did the photoshop, I preferred the silver cowls, but the more I looked at the black cowls, the odder the silver ones looked, and didn't "flow" with the rest of the tank. They will be painted matt black, so should still show the lines, but I guess I'll know for sure once it's been painted.

A , tho this one in blue with the wings in blue would be good too.
