You should be ok leaving the front wheel on. But I would give serious consideration about doing something with the one at the other end of the bike.

:D

I will Offer some advice

Numba 1 tie the centre stand forward to the wheel If you lean on the bike or stumble against it it won't take off!

When you're undoing the pivot pins??? Use a good quality heat gun and heat the bolt till it's hotter than hand hot! if it's still tight then heat it some more! Watch ya don't burn the paint

Otherwise You WILL unscrew all the threads out cos the feckin loctite type stuff is feckin good at it's job!!! As the muppet who stripped a box out of a bike for me in the breakers in england somewhere found Out!!!! I took the box anyway and got it repaired cos they're rare ish to find a good un!

Clean and prep all bolt things before refitting i.e. no thread lock on or in them! (I use a thread file for the bolts and a tap of the correct pitch for the bolt holes!)

GET and Use A good Torque wrench not a cheapo nasty!!!

Grease your driveshaft splines and check your shaft for rotational movement in the UJ's

IF You're in any doubt get a qualified fitter to do it for you or watch over your shoulder!

Did mine last weekend, apart from having to stop half way through to get some super strength loctite it would have taken approx 2 hours from start to finish.
Just make sure the drive shaft joints are lined up.

Just make sure that 1150R swing arm is the same length as the one on the GS.

Personally I'd just replace the rear bevel. :augie

Paralever arm is the same length it has the same part number, I went through the list before i got mine, the ratios etc are the same only differences were the outer casings ie the back plate hasn't got the lugs on for that half mudguard thingy and the outer case isn't drilled to take the 5mm bolt for the same thing.
I just changed the bevel box myself as it was easier

Big FO socket and Alan socket acquired.

Old Breville's off the bike, just awaiting friend with Locktite to arrive :thumb2

The old studs needed some heat to free them.

Should be fine as long as the shaft joints were all aligned correctly.
It shocked me how bad my old final drive had been when I rode my bike with the new one fitted.
Plus it has to be the only real bargain I'll ever get of E ***.
