Hi Guys n' Gals,
I've got the alu panniers and the alu top-box for my bike and CrazyCaz is waiting for the alu panniers to be delivered.
For convenience I'd like to get some inner bags / liners for them. The BMW ones seem OK. Quality is good, I assume, and they're waterproof. Other than that they're quite spartan. And obviously they have quite a heavy "brand-tax"
However, the ones that have caught my eyes are the ones offered by 'fulcran65' on eBay. For the top box and the panniers. They seem well made, reasonably priced and much more practical than the BMW ones, but they're not waterproof. Which isn't such a bother as the panniers/box in themselves are waterproof (or that's what they say).
What else is out there? What's your recommendations?
My requirement is primarily that I want to be able to pack the bags in the comfort of my house and then drop the bags into the boxes. Upon arrival I'd like to pull the bags out, stick the lid etc into the boxes and leave the bike without too much hassle. I'm not planning a round-the-world-trip, but I am planning long trips, so roadside repairs are secondary to ease of use.
Thanks!
