Pannier frames?

Anybody shed any light a to what BMW these migt fit.

I bought them for the 80 G/S but they clearly are not the right fit

Without measuring they look the same as the frames on my 76 G/S PD - though mine have been broken and bronze welded a few times.

Yours look like the have an additional plate on the nearside, so they have probably needed repair at some time too.

Mine didn't fit particularly well either - starting with the lower " footrest " bolt I ccould just lever in the rear top bolt, and I had to drill the frame for the other one.

Bottom frame holes alig but the upper brackets are incorrect for the G/S.

The Gusset plates look original.

Could be the ST..... as the pannier frames for the ST need the rear rack fitting before the pannier rails can be attached.....
I would have a look at mine to check, but they are off at the powder coaters.
PS: If they are for the ST they should be chrome..... black for the G/S, but chrome for the ST....(my ST ones have very poor chrome, so Im getting them powder coated black)
I believe they are the same, but I could be wrong there.

No difference between the g/s and the St .... They won't fit it
