Pannier question

Hi people,
What is the max recommended weight that I can put in my BMW Vario panniers on my 1200GS?
I am off on a tour of Europe but dont what to overload anything.

It says 10kg per pannier in the handbook . But it also says don't go over 130kph . I have ignored both

Just be sensible and even weight between the 2

you are not going to get much in the lefthand one anyway cos its full of silencer!

the left one should be handy for keeping your pies warm on the way though

,hello there . Just returned from southern spain on my 1200gs, would not like to say how much weight your supposed to put in panniers,but would go along with the 10kg. My arms were aching by the time i got from bike to hotel bedroom. My tip would be to treat yourself to a pack of those plastic bags that you force all the air out of, there 100% waterproof and it makes an amazing difference to how much you can get into panniers, even the left one . have a good trip .
