I have just gotten some Wolfman panniers, but no frames as yet. Is there any frames out there that when fitted you dont lose the pillion grab rails?
if you check the pic..the black bar to each side of the pillion area of the seat is fine for a grab rail...Did you spring for these Bansk ? How'd they go with the Wolfmans panniers ? I like the look of the Wolfman myself but the lack of grab rail is an off-putter as I do a lot of riding with the missus on the back and may tour with her on there too.
If you have got them, a photo or two would be really appreciated !

SW Mocheck QD pannier frames, we have these on our F650. The two rectangular hollow section side frames have fixing kits to suit a good variety of Paniers. The good thing about these is by undoing 4 half turn connectors the side frame can be removed leaving the unobtrusive mounting lugs on the bike. The std grab rail is replaced with one almost identical but with a set of mounting lugs attached.

Well, the SW Motech pannier racks turned up from Chainspeed a few days ago.
When I went to fit them, the slightly higher position of the new pillion grab rail piece means you can't put the seat back on !! You are given new bolts and 2 x 10mm spacers and these then get in the way of the plastic pads that are supposed to slide onto the round rubber pads.
I rang Chainspeed and they said they were too busy to look into it this side of Christmas. I did send them an e-mail with the same three photos to illustrate my problem.
If anyone has had a similar experience and gotten around it, please let me know.
Cheers, Dave

Ground 1-2mm off the 10mm spacers and the seat now fits on. Not as easily as the original but easy enough.
The only mod' I think I'll need to make is to off-set the plastic buckles that go over the seat as they fit in the middle of the seat and this makes carrying a pillion impossible. Who would want to sit on a large plastic fastex buckle ?
Photos to follow maybe ........
