as some of you know for the the past 14months i have been unable to ride my bike :tears it is a long story involving titanium screws, operations, crap bones and a glass back.:eek
after slowly going around the bend:loopy and back again :fiddle i am going to be a mad triker:surrender yes i know it is giving up but having to get a wheel chair so i can get to my office desk as it is too far to hobble* :banghead::forry:firemth has brought home the fact i am unlikely to be back on two wheels.

now the, what might be a daft question. the exhaust will no longer be in the way on the left hand side so can fit a full sized pannier instead of the stupid thin one, i think holds about one and a half flip flops and a flannel.

will a left r1150rt pannier fit? if not which one and if i can find one with a damaged lid will the one off mine fit it?

*i still do a lot of miles cycling on my peddle trike, you lay flat on on your back so every thing except your legs is supported and almost pain free, it it is the only thing that has stopped me being miserable.

Yes RT pannier will fit to left side of the bike.

Quick fix for bottom mount. Amazing how temporary fixes become permanent. I have done three Euro tours with this mod.

I used an RT pannier on my GS for a couple of years but went a different route than Hank by fabricating a wee bracket to fit the standard lugs on the RT pannier instead of drilling into the case.
