Hi Peeps,
does anyone know what version service pack is needed with XP to run on Parallels 5 so i can install my Mapsource and other windows programs ?

Also does anyone have a genuine version with an unused licence key for sale ?

It don't know, probably SP2 minimum (but SP3 is safe anyways).

I have lots of used XP Home keys (stickers), all hardware that they existed on have now been recycled, the keys currently aren't being used on any machine. You can still use any XP Home CD (real, copied, borrowed etc) with a legit CD key and you will be legal.

If you want one drop me an email at [email protected], I will post you the sticker by snail mail and the key in an email, all I ask is £10 so I can donate to a good cause (a guy I know is doing an artic walk for Dogs Trust, link).

er, strictly speaking, not if it's an OEM key. they belong only with the original PC, and are not transferrable between machines.

technicality of the EULA (which may in itself, not be legal).

never heard of anyone taking any notice of that particular stipulation anyway
