Went to this lovely place for a celebration ?0th birthday meal.

Pictures on the wall of a GSer called Les.

Unfortunately it was not his nioght on.

Good meal, great service. Recomend.

Mmmmm, just Googled it! Congleton is a little further than we'd usually travel (from the north Warrington area) but the menu looks very interesting I like the look of the midweek "Dinner At 8", they even say you can take your own wine along if you prefer!

Yes, you can take your own wine, but just during the week I think, not weekends.
Worth it for a special meal.

I have been a few times. Great dishes and very good service.
The desserts are brilliant! If you have a sweet tooth like me, and can't choose which one to have,you can order 2 half portions. Also another! [if you dont want cheese and biscuits].
Really good and recommended.

Stu the food is superb, and the chef is ok too.

Well worth the effort to go for the evening, some nice hotels nearby too. It always looks like you are a celebrity when the chef comes out and has a drink with you. Les is always changing the menu, and if you talk bikes to him I am sure he will look after you.
