Photo Rally 2007

Probably. And seeing as you have just volunteered......................:D :dabone :D

Right

we are waiting :thumb

still waiting :thumb

will you get the finger out :nenau

Here's a couple of suggestions to get you started -
the quarry on Slieve Felim
the antennas on Keeper Hill
the Millennium Cross beyond Ballina or the antennas above them

TunedIn should be able to give you a few more in Donegal or the North

You could do Wicklow yourself

some hope:D

that's you started, now get it finished

Well that's me nearly done so - pics of Felim & Keeper on the hard drive, if Tuned picks the run I did with him that's sorted & I'll just have a shuftie through the ride-out pics & pick a nice one of Sally Gap or Glenmalure. Sod Ballina - no time to go that far at present.

:bounce1 :roll :bounce1

you can't enter, you're the organiser. You have to find, scout, get the map reference of x number off-road locations with identifiable landmarks, produce the list, receive the entries, organise the awards ceremony.

You've more than enough to do without going for a run on your bike this year :D

Didn't Nud1e give you Tuned as a volunteer on a plate.

Delegate my boy, delegate. :D :D

[Edit] 500 posts. :wave

That sounds like far too much work altogether :( That's it, I resign :thedummy I'm off to ride me bike instead :bounce1 :D

But if I was, hypothetically kinda & contract denied etc, going to do it I'd appoint Daithi to cover the south, Nud1e the west, Aidan the north & Padge and Wookie can fight over the east while I co-ordinate activities from me wee bunker in the centre :aidan

:potkettle Says the man with 4 times as much sh1te posted :redbone (and yes, I'm well aware that I'm not that far behind :mmmm )

I might give this a go myself. Sandra and I do the Welsh, English and Scottish rallies most years and this looks like it could be good.

Stop clouting each other with your handbags.
Just get on with the photo rally, OK:rolleyes:

places i'm thinking of i may not have exact coordinates or distinctive landmarks..... but will be good to get to and worth the effort
trying to figure a couple out:D

i'll think of a logo you can download and print out that needs to be in any pics so you can't use old pics:augie ;)

do you think you could make it here:D

N55 14.899 W6 57.831

links to two pictures of what you see when you get there are in way-point properties

There are two ways to get to this point and good views and tracks... i did it on anakees:D

I have a beaut for The P. R. of C. and sure I can always try get a few pointers from the "not too cheerful one".

Good point Gerry. I did drag it a bit :topic but in my defence you were the one who mentioned that it was a shame that the locations had to be 'reasonably accessable' ;) I just put 2 & 2 together (and got 27 obviously) :D

I still think it would be a bit of craic to do. Maybe we could have a wee chat about it sometime ;)

Tooned, that's exactly what I had in mind :thumb2

Back to the Photo Rally, I wonder could I pick off 2 or 3 of those locations this w/e :loopy

Next w/e would be great :thumb2 Didn't manage to get any on the previous w/e - our clearly defined plan took precedence & unfortunately time didn't allow for any deviations :( But I did pick up one by accident last w/e :D The camera's nearly always with me but often left in the tankbag. Travelling solo last w/e allowed me the time to take a few scenic pics without tossers spoiling the view :augie

See ya Saturday :aidan :bounce1 :bounce1

Ok - Sandra and I are going to do the photo rally. We plan to get some en route to Donegal and the rest over a long weekend in August and we're going for GOLD :thumb

Good on ya - and Sandra too. :thumb
Have had the occasional UK entry, would like to see more.
I won't be in Donegal - it clashes with the 40th Shamrock rally.
Do enjoy - hope th sun shines on you both.:aidan :aidan

Keep an eye out at the Shamrock for Paul Murphy and Jim Carragher Gerry. Jim will be on the V7 Sport and Paul will most likely take one of the Bimotas.
