Well done younger man.
In fairness to you you have given me lots of potential photo sites and one of this years stars.
That old ship I found by accident by checking out that boreen. It is not visually attractive but is unusual rusting away in a backwater of the Shannon estuary.
All suggestions for future years are very welcome. Just check out that road - your boat might be in.

thats me done, had a great time doing the rally. will have to just ride round newry in circles now till i find somewhere else to go.

We have three left (#2,3,4) but we have been to #1 twice in the last week does that mean we only have 2 left? 
When we eventually found the little track to the mast I was so relieved and wanted off my bike. I parked and got off and then watched as it rolled in slow motion off its side stand I know it should have been in gear especially on that terrain.
When we picked it up Brian saw that the clutch lever was broken off.
He is always telling me to leave it in gear .... wasn't sure if he would throw me and or my bike off the top of the mountain.
Freewheeled it down the mountain, but there is a short very steep climb back into Glen Columbcille and it took everything we had to push it up the hill.
A lovely couple gave it protection for the week while I ordered a new one and we went back yesterday and Brian fitted new leaver.
I will have to admit I will have to stop this dropping the bike etc. as one day Brian will just mount his bike and disappear over the horizon.
Bike is back on the road and had a great spin home today. We found a great little hotel just outside Ballyshannon ... Creevy Pier Hotel, (€50.00 B&B for two, and 3 course dinner special €15.00 a head) which we would highly recommend. Interesting ride in the dark to find it, a must for boreen lovers.

The closing date has been and gone and there are still one or two “in the post”.
Deadlines are not something that some of you totally comprehend; OK we’ll not start complaining.
The attached letter outlines the awards night on Feb 13th next; same hotel (Bloomfield) but at reduced price.
You might pass this on to those without E mail; we’ll snail mail it to them but that is another chore – almost complained there.
If you have E mail, sent photos and received no acknowledgement get back to Gerry please.
Otherwise start gearing up for the festive season; although there’s a bit of an old budget first – still just about not complaining.
We’ll turn our backs on the photos for now and let the judges do what they do – the 2010 list needs to be put in place.
Anyone know of anywhere tougher to get to than the hilltop mast in Glencolumbkille?
In reality it does not need to be tough; off the beaten track and interesting is the aim – if you have suggestions, let’s be having them.
