it has been very misty between bangor (wales) and the parts of ireland i visited in last 3 days........

not surprised at that pic of knockadoon

anyway heres mine

17 vee crash memorial

also did the slob house at wexford and the site at st mullins (why did the gps send me round the back and towards the lake where the boyos were fishing lol) (theyre on the other camera)

18 knockadoon cork - not as remote as people say - the road from the vee to knockadoon

also did wicklow head but missed the turning off the road so the photos from the road and its on a throwaway camera cos the battery went on me fone will be added when i get it off

ps mols gap is all its cracked up to be although i preferred the last bit off the mountain and the R569 from kenmare to inch then the N22 back to killarney

This is sad news if it is true

Tirnony Portal Tomb/dolmen damaged

The Dolmen is one of the 24 Photorally locations for 2010

11th June 2010. I received an email recently from Lisa Dunne conncerning this portal tomb. On a recent visit to the tomb Lisa had found to her dismay that the portal tomb had been knocked down. The tree which stood next to the tomb had been felled. I will try to find more information about what caused the damage. Thanks to Lisa for allowing us to use her image.

Is it true what I heard, a biker of note on the way down from Cregg mast for the photo rally shot spotted a car near some disused sheds that was not there on the way up and went to investigate

Crackin' day in Wexford on Sunday

Although I've been to several of the Photo points in the south more than once I've somehow managed not to get Wexford so I thought I'd put that right today. 'Twas beautiful down there :

Came back via Mt.Leinster & stopped in at the enduro for a while. You can just make out the 'paddock' - that white line in the trees, top right hand corner.

Started off as a beautiful day in Co. Clare

But had turned really shitty by the time I got down to Kerry - raindrops on the lens. Was raining quite heavy at that stage and washed the sun cream into my eyes - que driving at 50kmph to Dingle so I could wash out my eyes.
