I was out wandering about on the bike yesterday. When I came home I decided to connect the sat nag to the computer and download my track and upload the photo rally points.

When I had all that done, I realized I had ridden right by the Dublin/Kildare point.:blast

What a numpty!

Ballyknockan No. 10 Photo - attention

There is a temporary metal alloy bridge on the Lacken to Ballyknockan road close to Ballyknockan. Cyclists are advised to dismount while crossing. In the wet it could be slippery (shiny metal surface) even on a motorcycle.

A much more scenic approach is available from the Wicklow Gap direction, wonderful views of the lakes coming down the mountain. Alternately approach from Hollywood or Valleymount to avoid the temporary bridge in the wet or the dark or the wet and the dark.
