I did Doe Castle and Rosses point earlier today, and also the Magharakeel graveyard and the emigration stone from the Phoker rally. No pics for a few weeks , no computer.
Lovely warm dry day. Got plenty of use of the Jetblil too.

enjoy the hols...Heading to Rosses point and Mayo tomorrow..... and i got the gas

I went out another day from Downings and went to Cushendun,
There were lots of nice bikes parked up.
Came back via the Dark Hedges
Then via Ballymoney to see these two Lads
Back via Derry
Then Mamore gap,
Another stop at An Griannan Ailligh, stunning views
Looking North up Lough Swilly with Inch Island on the left
Only Galway and Mayo left.

Done, finished
and that's just about describe my poor aching, ancient body.
Friday was a run to Longford/Westmeath, then on to Louth/Meath and Crossans for a new front tyre. Down/Armagh, Antrim, Derry and Donegal finished off the day.
6 down, 6 to go.
Saturday, I left Letterkennedy shortly after 7 am, and headed for Cavan/Monaghan, Fermanagh/Tyrone, Leitrim, Sligo, Mayo and Roscommon.
Back home to lovely Co.Limerick just after 7 pm.
Mostly sunshine on both days with the odd shower to cool me.
The road surfaces in the wee North have gone to shite, what in the name of gad happened.
R312 from Bellacorick to Castlebar is a fine road for a GS, as is the R328 from Claremorris to Mountbellew.
The highlight of the days was the two camper vans that I meet at the Derrycahil Bridge. Both vans were the full width of the road. Neither driver seemed able to read the sign which said that there was a 3 tonne limit and they want to know if I would ride the bike across. I said that I would if I were going that way but that I wasn't. So they decided to drive over themselves.
