Hi Gerry,

I hope you got mine as I posted it last week? I was unable to come to Ireland after February run but hope to make it next year and cover al the photo rally sites.

Was quite busy this year with two trips to France and a two week stint covering half of Europe with the misses. And as the weather was not too great in late summer in Ireland not that it bother me I could not make my second trip across the Irish sea.

Hope to see you all in February that is if the weather allows the crossing.

1st time in a few years i havnt entered. Got 14 but never got time to send em off. Hopefully have time in 2013 to do all 24
 
If you are among the 207 entrants for 2012 you will have received the following by e mail yesterday.

The presentation night is on Sat Feb 2nd 2013 & is again in the Glasson Hotel & Golf Club a wee bit north of Athlone.


Accommodation in the Glasson is now booked out - rooms are available in the nearby Prince Of Wales hotel. Saturday overnight costs €50 euro per person sharing. To secure a room, either e mail [email protected] (including your phone contact details) or dial 090 647 6666 & press 1 for reservations – quoting motorcycle photo rally.

The presentation dinner itself (€35) can be booked by e mailing [email protected] (with a contact number) or by phoning 090 648 5120. Those who attended previously will recollect it as being a meal fit for a king or even a Photo Rally participant. In addition it is an opportunity to have a wee bit of craic with other like minded afflicted souls.

Importantly there will be a Celtic Horizon Tours courtesy bus transfer – the time schedule will be arranged & available closer to the event.

The judges will be hard at work over the holiday season & their deliberations will be revealed on Feb 2nd.

The Photo Rally list for 2013 will be published after the 2012 awards ceremony.

All that remains is to wish you all a very happy Christmas & a mighty 2013 – please let it be a better (drier) summer than 2012.
 
For once I got my finger out early enough to get into the hotel :bounce1

Only downside is I'm sharing with Hairnet :blast :D
 
only got the e-mail today and cannot believe how quickly the hotel filled up,

luckily i only live 20 miles from the venue so i might have to go home for a change

looking forward to it now always a great night :beerjug::beerjug::beerjug:
