At the moment I am using Photobucket for my Bike Club`s Gallery, the problem is that I have to give everyone a password to view it.

I want a set up where, only I can upload the pictures, but they can be viewed without the need for a password.

Thanks in anticipation,

I have used googlemail (also known as gmail)they give you a huge memory space to upload pictures
The program Picassa is also provided which allows you to sort pictures and even load whole directories as once. I suggest you use the function to reduce the size of pictures or else it can take a long time.
People can view and download pictures or albums you can make them open to all or restrict them to people with passwords. The open to all function means anyone in the world can see them but finding them might be easier going through googlemail itself

There is also a calendar function which you could use to put club events into though I doubt anyone will use it much although it is a sound calnder.

It would allow all the contacts details of the club members to be in one place as well and accessible by them all - they would be contacts of the email address

The emails remain in view and accessible whenever you are on line (But not when off line - drawback over outlook).
You do need a username eg Bike Club and a password eg BikeClub but as its FREE

I believe Yahoo also do a similar thing and if anything has more subscribers than googlemail
Try www.googlemail.com

I've been using photobucket up till now but just swapped to Picasa on my son's advice, seems good

you can start with photobucket, it's free, very reliable and they offer a good amount of storage for the majority of us. bandwidth is ok too.

Picasa

I think Picasa is great!! Free and does most things yer average digi photog wants. Binned all the other stuff!

Picase:thumb2 And with geotagged images you can see where they were taken. Makes you look clever.
