Hi,

Hope the weather is good as I am picking my first GS up tomorrow. I hope I don't have the luck a lot of you seem to be having with EWS failure and bad vibrations etc etc. I still feel I am making the correct choice, but time will tell.

New bike

Don't worry the RAC work weekends.

Well Done.

Hope the weathers nice .. I've had mine a month ( 1000 Miles ) and nothings gone wrong yet !! Famous last words :-)

Cheers

Steve

Weather was great and I must say I was glad to get the lady home. Friday 13th and 666 in the receipt number, but all was well. I am still smiling. I know already that I have made a good choice. Why have I not had one of these before? They are fantastic. The only thing that has pissed me off is the front screen. It rattles!!! (badly). I have noticed that where it is attached to the bike at the very front of the screen there is a lot of side to side play which causes the rattle. I am convinced there should be a couple of rubber washers at either side to absorb the slack. Touch wood it seems to be the only problem so far. Can't wait to get out a good run tomorrow.

I had the same problem with the screen when the new bike was delivered last week, it turned out that the PDI/Assembly wasn't carried out properly, and all the mountings on the front screen needed tightened up. 5 minutes with a spanner sorted it, but you dont expect to do that on a bike costing nearly £11k!!!
