Today I traded in the GS for a GSA.

Got it into the workshop and started stripping to run the cables for the autocom up to the Zumo and to get all the plated/ally shiny bits off so I can get them powder coated black.

You should have bought it direct from the factory - half-assembled...........................:blast

You could have saved some time!

Al :D

I like your style, no messing around, the tank looks a work of art in alloy.

Oo...my OCD would not let me do that... Admire you for just grabbing it by the neck...

Me too.... those parts would have to be laid out in a neat line and not right on that crack  ;)

Will be following this one too as I'm sure that 'bright work' will look uber cool in satin Black :thumb2

Is the powder coating applied straight on top of the existing plating?

Let us know how many bolts are left over once you've put it all back together!:aidan

OK so to clarify the parts going in for a 'black' look are various parts. Some are stainless steel, painted ally and spangle galv. Each coating will be treated appropriately.
