Ok, ignore my route above.

The plan is to meet up at the River Cale Cafe ideally as close as you can to 0900.

Then we’ll aim to leave at 1000 to ride to the Pier One Cafe in Plymouth to arrive by 1300, but routing via Dartmoor .

If you can’t make that then just meet at the Pier One Cafe around 1300.

Failing that we’ll see you t check in by 1545 latest !

I'll divert and ride over Dartmoor on my way through and be at Pier One by 1300.

Hotel booked from Tuesday 19th because it's full on the Monday so will find somewhere nearby for the Monday night.

I was going to ride through France heading home but in the end booked ferry both ways to and from Santander so have until Monday to explore.

Any suggestions on where I can stay on Monday 19th would be appreciated. Hopefully the hotel will have a cancellation.

Steve, if Inda has only just cancelled his Hotel Del Oso booking, perhaps there’s a spare room so you could get in on the Monday too ?

Redrick reckons the N261 is bad with roadworks in to Potes, so might do this instead.

The Roadworks are truly grim from La Hermida to Potes with half mile stretches dug up with traffic lights or a bloke with a radio that can be on red or waiting for 20 minutes or so at a time ( as we did ) with little chance of filtering to the front due to the narrow road etc and then you end up stuck behind a lot of traffic and if there is a group of you its a tough overtake etc

Seriously best avoided which is a shame as its a nice road

You could always go in this way which is a nice route ( its what i would do from Puentansa in hindsight) so you can still bail off the motorway at Cabezon and would probably only add 20 minutes to the journey
